Artist and Keeper #2 Sally Brown is inviting locals to slow down, connect, chat and reflect on what makes Maroochydore feel special through a fun and meaningful, all-ages guided drawing experience.

You'll find Sally in store at The Plaza Thu & Fri 10.00am until 12.00pm and next week at Maroochydore Library Mon | Tue | Thu | Fri next week.

✨ Open Studios Sunshine Coast starts this Friday, and we're excited to be taking part!

For the first time, we'll be open this Saturday and Sunday, welcoming visitors to explore our creative space, browse original artworks and handmade creations, and discover the talented local makers we proudly support.

Then, throughout next week, artists will be in-store creating. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet the artists, watch works come to life, ask questions, and learn more about their creative process.

Whether you visit over the weekend or come back next week to meet the artists, we'd love to see you!

As a community store showcasing the work of local makers, we recognise the important role art plays in sharing culture, preserving stories and fostering connection. We are proud to celebrate First Nations creativity and encourage our community to take the time this week to learn from, listen to and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices, artists and makers.

If you're visiting Equity Works this week, take a moment to discover the work of our First Nations makers and celebrate the richness, diversity and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

The Keeper Project is coming to Maroochydore and Equity Makers is part of it!

The Keeper Project is a community art project that takes place in everyday public spaces where 10 local artists spend three weeks creating live art within their communities. Since 2021, the Keeper Project has reached more than 265,000 people across Coolum, Nambour and Caloundra. Now it's Maroochydore's turn!

Equity Maker, friend and artist Sally Brown (aka Keeper No. 2) invites the Equity Makers community to join her for a fun and meaningful all-ages guided creative drawing experience.

Sally invites you to slow down, connect, chat and reflect on what makes Maroochydore feel special to you. Curious?

🎨 Open Studios Sunshine Coast is almost here!

Open Studios Sunshine Coast 2026 is just around the corner, and we're excited to be part of this year's event!

To make it easier for everyone to visit, Equity Makers Store will be open on the weekend of 18–19 July, perfect for those who can't make it during our usual opening hours.

Throughout the week, we'll also be welcoming a selection of our talented makers into the store for special meet-and-greet sessions. It's a wonderful opportunity to chat with the artists, hear the stories behind their work, and discover the creativity that makes our region so special.

Whether you're following the Open Studio trail or simply looking for something inspiring, we'd love to welcome you into the store.
