Last Saturday we had two groups of customers come in looking to dress up . Firstly a lovely pair of young girls wanting to dress up as founding fathers (American) for a birthday celebration. And a second group of ladies out op shopping for a fun weekend away from their normal responsibilities.
It seems to be a fun activity that more people are interested in “op shopping with a twist “.
They had lovely things to say about our helpful staff. Thank you ladies. Come again soon.

Exciting news we have two volunteers who are wanting to open up the shop on Saturday 10am until 3pm so if are around come in and say hello

Wishing all of our customers a very happy and safe Easter long weekend. We will be closed from Thursday 3 pm until Tuesday morning. Our volunteers are wanting to also celebrate Easter with their families and friends.

Fridays good because Sunday is coming

We have drawn our Easter raffle

Kathy from happy valley won the quilted blanket donated by Mannum stitchers and Alaina won the Easter basket of eggs and soft bunnies

We have had someone leave us a trailer load of books, clothes, shoes, games and other household items. Unfortunately they were left outside of our open hours (10am-3pm). With the rains that were forecasted and came early we were unable to save the majority of the items. It was heartbreaking to load our trailer up with items that were rain affected and now the OpShop will have to pay for tip fees.

Sorry for our recent days of closure due to high temperatures. We are focused on the welfare of our volunteers. Hopefully we won’t have too many more hot days
