With school returning, we thought some timely (and often overlooked) tips for you parents bustling to get organised.
Quality vs Quantity:
Whilst we may be a repairer, we know a thing or two about a good fit and providing advice on shoe options.
We’re often asked “is it worth the extra dollars for a more premium option?” In this case, a definite YES.
School shoes are carrying those precious little soles day in, day out and the effect on feet, muscles and joints really means this is an area you can’t scrimp on, where possible.
Lace It Up:
With many kids learning the ropes for the first time, it can either be a milestone or a frustrating challenge to learn tying your own laces.
If it’s the latter, perhaps the shoe lace length simply isn’t right. Either too short or too long.
We are happy to provide some options and advice as you navigate these tricky waters.
Tune Up:
Looking ahead, keep a close eye on those school shoes and ensure a regular check for anything requiring stitching, polishing or other repair in a timely manner. End of term is always a good time for a tune up.
Appropriate care can mean making those school shoes last the whole year!
