For the month of January, in the window of the Manilla Folder 200 Manilla St., Manilla, “The Dance We Do” is featured, an oil on canvas by Marilynne Barnes. The work reflects on the interconnectedness of humanity, illustrating how each individual existence forms part of a continuous circular chain. It speaks to the way our actions thoughts, and beliefs, ripple outwards, influencing people, places and communities we may never personally encounter.
In December Marilynn in collaborating with Tamworth Regional Council and fellow artist Dianna Wallace will presented an exhibition of their works to raise awareness of homeless among older women.

In the window for the month of December at The Manilla Folder, 200 Manilla St., Manilla, we have a Christmas display designed and installed by Kylie Ford from “Inspired Interiors”. Kylie has recently started her business using up-cycled material, painted woods and unusual pieces.
Kylie can be contacted on 0476064904 if you would like her expertise in design and styling, rates can be negotiated with new concepts and Kylie is also open to payment plans.
After viewing the display, step inside, enjoy some delicious goodies from Warm Discussions Café, browse through the Bowerbird antique and vintage collectibles and the many books, pre-love clothing and antique furniture in store. As this will be our last display for 2025, we would like to wish all of our customers and followers a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. 🎄🤶🎅

For those people living in Manilla or just simply holidaying or driving through, there are so many hidden gems beyond the doors at 200 Manilla St., Manilla New South Wales. During November we have a pottery display in the window by Annie Clough, just inside the doors at Warm Discussions cafe you can purchase a delicious breakfast or lunch. A favorite of the locals is the egg and bacon roll Opposite the cafe is Bo Ho & Hide Leather goods call Kellie on 0434277192
Stroll a little further and we have bric a brac, vintage and antique goods for sale, also an eclectic range of modern and vintage pre-loved clothing, shoes and hats. Further down in the Manilla Folder, Geoff sells his woodwork and other unique items. As you can see from the attached photos he has some very interesting pieces for sale. A particular fascinating item of interest is the urn, if you look closely at the woodwork on the side you can see an outline of a person, this is created from all natural wood. You can choose from the woodwork on display or call Geoff on 0427856540 as he is open to discuss and create your own unique design.

Geoff has recently put his skills to use making Urns, these Urns can be made from Australian Red Cedar Camp Laurel or Liquidamber from Manilla, Silky Oak from Tamworth and Flame McKay Cedar. Who wears it better?
Amongst the many treasures at The Manilla Folder we have this “Tom Mix” Stetson hat, previously owned and worn by Andrew Farriss of INXS fame. Today the hat is being modelled by Mark, who with his wife Alison, is a recent addition occupying “The Space” within The Folder, they have a diverse collection of vintage and antique goods for sale.

For the month of August at the Manila Folder, 200 Manilla St., Manilla, we have a display in the window of Dried Flower arrangements by the renowned Peter Raigner. Peter is a highly qualified and sort after judge of Dried Flower arranging and judges at the Royal Easter show and many other competitions. As you can see, Peter certainly knows his craft which you can see for yourself when you pop in to the Manila Folder, have a cuppa and view the beautiful display in the window.

In the feature window for July at the Manilla Folder, 200 Manilla St., Manilla, we are displaying Wobblee Ware, made and designed by Angelique Boyce. The beautiful pieces made by Angelique can be seen in the attached photo. When next in Manilla don’t forget to pop in and see the display of various plates, bowls and even herb garden pegs.

With this very cold winter and the need to keep warm, we have for sale a number of coats, vests and jumpers, all at very reasonable prices. Call in and browse the range - you might be pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of current stock available.
