On Track Trails

On Track Trails Design, construction, maintenance of purpose built mountain bike trails. Incorporating weed control and revegetation with native species. Darryl Pursey. Sam Kent.

A team of passionate local mountain bikers from the Lismore and surrounding region who recognised an obvious demand for single track in the area. After hand building a number of approved trails in a local state forest the decision to form a business was made. The Team comprises four key members who are spread across a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds. Each individual brings to the table a

unique set of skills. The one thing they all have in common is that they are all very keen mountain bike riders. A local icon. The owner and operator of arguably the oldest family owned bike shop in Australia - Harris Cycles. John Allen. Local agricultural consultant specialising in soil erosion and conservation practices. David Keep. Company accountant and business manager. Experience in mountain bike event management. Licensed carpenter.

We built a mountain bike track at Alstonville High School. A beginner level trail with optional lines for skill progression. A very motivated group of students drove this project through the whole process from negotiation and design through to construction. Well done guys, we hope you enjoy the track! Big thanks also to all the volunteers who came out today to help tidy up and value add 👍💪👍

Well done Northern Rivers Dirty Wheels for getting this park off the ground. A huge amount of behind the scenes work over quite a few years have gone into its development.

Many thanks to the Club and also Trailworx for been given the opportunity to be a co-partner in the trail construction.
