Back in late April I was part of the Miil Miil Productions Film crew at Colinroobie for the short film Nganhayung Galingabangbur (Our Children). Hired as the 1st Camera Assistant to change Lenses, camera positions, pull focus etc. Using my skills I already had plus learnt a lot of new ones.
It was great being part of the week long shoot and very late finishes(getting home at at 3-4am each night). Awesome cast and crew and proud to be a part of this indigenous short film. Thanks to Miil Miil Productions and Western Riverina Arts for letting me be a crew member!

On Sunday I did one of my most demanding Audio Gigs The Leeton Balloon Glow part of the Leeton Sunrice Festival.
28 speakers in total, 30m apart including 18" Subwoofers, 4 Full Range 100V speakers, over 20,000 Watts RMS of power, across a distance of 300m!
14 LED Lights on stands programmed in sequence to trigger the balloonist to glow.
30min of edited music to go along with the glow! And a crowd of over 10,000 people!!!
A huge day, and I did 25,000 steps!

Couldn't be possible without my awesome crew Tim Coulter , Jonathan Sherlock and Pete Woodlands.

And a big thank you to the Leeton Balloon Glow Committee for using my services, always appreciated, and proud to be part of this event!

While on the theme of International Women's Day last week, last October I supplied Audio, Lighting, Projection and Stage for the International Day for Rural Women at the Hydro Hotel Leeton. With Country Music singer Melinda Schneider as the keynote presenter telling her amazing story and performing some of her great music, and she was a pleasure to work with.
