Last night, the second annual Springers Cup kicked off at Sunshine Coast Grammar 🏉 As the Major Sponsor for Nudgee Rugby and Sunshine Coast Grammar Rugby, this is a thrilling event packed with the best of grassroots rugby, competition, and community support. Congratulations Nudgee on your win - what a cracker!

The party continued afterward at our Warana store - dinner, drinks, and arcade games 🕹️

Give it up for our May Installer and Rep of the Month 👏

Kyle is one of our 3rd year electrical apprentices. With a tenure of almost 5 years, Kyle is part of the furniture here at Springers and is now working with the Sunshine Coast team, running trucks out of our Warana base. He's always hooking in, working hard, and putting in the extra effort to make everyone's lives easier. He also keeps morale high with that South African sense of humour 😆

Nate is in our Lawnton warehouse team. He's responsible for packing the trucks each day, a job that requires speed and accuracy to ensure that our install teams have exactly what they need. He's always happy to help, he's a friendly guy to work with, and his forklift skills have been described as "something else" (in a good way). Well done, Nate!

Say hey to our April employees of the month 👋

👑 If you're a Brisbane Southsider, you may have seen Paul before. He's one of our legendary 12-48V experts manning our Capalaba store. He puts in the extra effort, goes the extra mile for customers, and is a "straight up legend" as described by the team. Congrats, Paul, well-deserved.

👑 Mitch is one of our new electrical apprentices and has made a strong impression with his ability to just get things done. He's proactive, works hard, offers a helping hand where needed, and never complains about getting up in the roof (even when it sucks). He's proven to be an asset to the team - awesome work, mate, keep it up.

This week, Joe, Eddie, and Mick Springer attended the Smart Energy 2026 conference & expo, one of Australia's largest industry gatherings, to meet and discuss renewables. Here are our highlights:

🏆 We won the Smart Employer Award - national recognition for how we invest in our people, champion innovation and safety, and foster a values-driven clean energy industry. We've always been people-first, and we're honoured to receive this award to celebrate that fact.

Today we celebrate Earth Day 2026

We’ve been a part of the solar industry for over 24 years now, and we are proud to better our planet by helping QLD home and business owners benefit from solar power ☀️

In 2025, around 13.5% of Australia’s total energy was generated from rooftop solar. It's awesome to see Aussies continue to utilise our most accessible natural resource - the sun.

Earth Day provides an opportunity for reflection to see just how far we’ve come and recognise how far we still have to go. We'll continue to play our part and bring Queenslanders closer to new renewable technologies as they come to light. Here’s to our wonderful Earth 🌱
