Just sharing a few ways we store loose parts near our sandpit for easy access. The hothouses are $30 each from Bunnings and you can keep the goodies dry inside by simply zipping up the plastic cover. I tied each hothouse and half pallet to a shade pole so they dont fall over.

Here are some more happy snaps taken during my Magical Marionette and Puppet Show at Uranquinty Preschool on Thursday. "Mr Doozy" bird marionette was very popular with the children. He is so cuddly and funny looking! Mr Doozy chose to sit on the childrens' knees and whisper in their ears before hopping up and doing a little jig to the music.

My revamped Green Goat Van made its maiden voyage to Uranquinty Preschool this morning and the children there were captivated by all the special characters in my 'Magical Marionettes and Puppet Show'. Such a fun visit!

I am very excited to once again be touring with my 'Magical Marionettes and Puppet Show', visiting local early childhood services and sharing the love of storytelling. As a Preschool Teacher, I love making the most out of Natural Resources to help children explore and make sense of the world around them (EYLF Curriculum for Preschools - 'Being, Becoming, Belonging').

As our family also lives on a farming property where we source our own fresh milk, eggs, vegetables etc I can see the significant positive impact that the natural environment has on our own children's development.

Which is why I love small business enterprises such as Timber Creations - from Somersby NSW - (ie. "Nature Play NSW") who - 'create nature play elements, custom play equipment and site specific sculptures' to help encourage more children to love going outside and broaden their understandings of the world in which they live. Wow! Last years record was beaten by about $170,000! So many more children's lives can be helped when the money raised every year (and throughout each year) is spent on vital resources which may include new medical equipment, research, specialist health professionals etc all of which are vital in caring for our very sick children :)

An incredible result for this year's Good Friday Appeal!
