SOME NEWS! The Stuseum will be on the move. Hopefully I can announce the new location very soon, just ironing out a few details.

I've loved having a little shop but it's become apparent that if I'm really serious about clearing out the piles of stuff in the study, under the stairs, beside my bed, in the garden shed, in the second garden shed, in the garage, in the storage unit and under the seats in my car...I will need a slightly bigger premises. And I'll need to actually open something more akin to "proper" retail hours. So keep an eye out for more details soon.

Friday 5th (tomorrow) and Sat 6th are likely THE LAST DAYS I'LL OPEN IN THE CURRENT LOCATION. Tradition would dictate I have some sort of moving sale, but it's hard to have a sale when I never got around to pricing most things - but definitely keen to do some good deals so I don't have to move it!

Open tomorrow Sat 11th 10 - 4 and Thurs 16th 12 - 4. After that the store will be closed for a couple of weekends while I visit my favourite place in the world (I'm hiring a car so I can hit the real outskirts of Tokyo - recommendation and requests welcome!)

The most common request since I opened is horror VHS so here we go - this lot in store now. Condition varies from really good to "more white powder than El Chapo's basement" (VHS collectors will know) so come in and take a look. There is some gold in there ( ) and I do need Strong Zero money, but will do better deals for people I get to meet in real life. Oh and if you're collecting NKOTB or Alf cards, I've got you covered.

Thanks Hoges. As the regretful owner of a vehicle powered by diesel, I'm acutely aware that value for money has never been more important. So at the Stuseum you can get yourself a VHS tape for 0.66 litres. A CD will set you back about 0.73 litres. Mario plush...probably about 3 litres. Bring in an actual jerry can of the ol' black gold and you can probably walk out with a whole gaming console.

Extended opening hours Sat 28/3.

Thoroughfare is taking place in the CBD tomorrow so we are tweaking our opening hours to align with the festivities - open 11.30 until late(ish).

A perfect day to eat, drink, listen to some tunes and make unnecessary, but fun, purchases.

Stuseum opening hours:
Fri: 10-4
Sat: Closed
Sun: 12 - 4

Closed on Saturday for birthday lunch. It's probably hard to believe but behind the scenes of the Stuseum can be a little chaotic. I've been told on numerous occasions that I should consider myself lucky because 'no one else would put up with this s**t'. I took these photos 15 mins ago, so let's see if we can work out why:
Top L - Bedroom floor: bags full of stuff to take into the shop tomorrow. Random pile of cords. Cropped out of the shot is a massive pile of black t-shirts.
Top R - computer monitor that upon switching on emitted smoke and a strong 'something isn't right here' smell. Placed on deck to....um I'm not sure why I put it there. That was many months ago.
Bottom L - the pile of stuff at the top of the stairs, an area I refer to as the "half-way house". Definitely more of a rotating exhibition but never quite cleared completely.
Bottom R - Arcade machine in the hallway. In my defence only moved out of the study because *someone* complained about not being able to open the wardrobe doors. Next steps yet to be determined.

I've often mounted the argument that she should in fact just be grateful to be surrounded by so much cool stuff. The counter-argument being that this is borderline the definition of "irreconcilable differences" and I should think myself bloody lucky. Let me know your thoughts in the comments and don't forgot to smash that like and subscribe button.

Happy birthday (and goodbye to everyone else if this post is the last straw and I'm never seen or heard from again)
