When Owen spotted Goldee, he said,She looks nice… I can’t take my Eyes off her😂 Well, that was enough to get Goldee Smiling — She Loves a Compliment 👑🤣

❤️ From Aged Care to a 15-Year Friendship

Heather and Effie first met 15 years ago while working together in Aged Care. What started as Workmates soon became a Wonderful Friendship that Continues today❤️
Now both retired, they Love taking the time to catch up over coffee, relax, and Explore Launceston and its Little Shops whenever they get the chance together. ☕😊
15 Years Later, they’re still Sharing Laughs, making Memories, and reminding us Just how Special a good Friendship can be🫶

Heather enjoys Ladies Connect studies at her church in Ravenswood, a church she absolutely Loves, and she also volunteers whenever an extra hand is needed. 👌
Effie Loves keeping active and hitting the Gym💛💪

Meet Chris! He Lives just around the Corner from Our Little Shop here in Newstead, so we’re Lucky to see him quite often.Chris has been a Painter for 25 years, Working 6 days a Week with Early Starts. He takes pride in every job, Big or Small, and Proudly offers Pensioner rates for Pensioners,

Chris has lived most of his life in Newstead and told us with a smile,
😂Melbourne is too crazy… I love little Tassie.❤️
He admits he was a Bit of a Naughty kid growing up, but these Days he’s a Hardworking, Responsible bloke who Enjoys Fishing sometimes and Catching up with mates whenever he gets the chance.

When we asked what He Likes about Our Little shop, he Smiled and said, “Friendly team, Plenty of Gift Options, a Café… it’s a Real One-Stop Shop.Then with a laugh he added, “And they make nice toasties too☕🥪❤️

Some friendships don’t need fancy words… Just a Coffee, a Laugh, and a Moment Together. ☕❤️
Meet Terry and Terril, two Wonderful Locals who Brighten our Café and Newsagency Every Time they Visit. Terry is Terril’s carer, and together they share a special bond.They have a wonderful sense of humour and bring smiles wherever they go😊🫶 Terry Spent Many Years working at the Local Slaughterhouse before becoming Terril’s carer. These days, they enjoy the Simple Things in Life—time with their Grandchildren, Sharing Stories, and having a Good Laugh 😊

When we asked what message they’d like to share, they said:
