Warhammer - Launceston The best place to learn about Warhammer in Launceston! Located in Launceston down in Tasmania, we are a Warhammer Hobby Centre.

Carrying a large range of Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 products, with access to many more through our in-store order point, as well as the Citadel Paints, brushes and modelling accessory ranges, we have all the right tools to enable you to do your hobby, or get started on a new one. If you're interested in trying out the hobby, feel free to come in any day we're open and we will run through the games, and even give you a model for you to paint.

Good morning everyone! It's a bit of a dreary day today, but we're shaping up to get some Kill Team happening in store today - and on Sundays going forward for the foreseeable future.

If you're keen to get to grips with Kill Team, get some games in, and find some new opponents to play against, Sundays from 10am onwards is going to be a great time to get into the store! All you'll need to bring in is your Kill Team and anything you need to get a game of Kill Team in. We've got the boards, terrain and importantly the space to play!

Never played a game of Kill Team before and want to learn? We can help you with that as well.

We've had 11 people pledge to take part in the One Million Miniatures challenge, but we need more if we're going to hit our in-store goal of 2000 miniatures contributed! Taking part is easy, just come have a chat to me in store, fill out your pledge card, and get to painting.

There's been some updates for Kill Team with this months balance update (check the link for more information about it, and then get to the downloads section, or hit up the Kill Team app and download the updates in there), and because Kill Team is a fun game, starting on Sunday the 8th of February, we're going to be running some Kill Team Sundays for some instore gaming!

Today sees new Maggotkin of Nurgle forces on the shelf, new Mechanicum for Horus Heresy up for order, The Steel Rook and The Hunter Strikes up for made to order and more.

Our 1 Million Miniatures challenge starts today! Come and pledge how many miniatures you'll get painted between now and the end of May (and they have to be models that are *not* already painted). Our store goal that we'd like to hit as a community? A nice round 2000 miniatures. But if we smash that and do more, that'd be awesome.

I'm pledging to do 100 miniatures myself.

Greetings hobbyists! It's the first Saturday of the month, so today we have our new Miniature of the Month! If you're feeling a little bit like a Servitor after all the Christmas and New Years celebrations, come on down and build yourself in tabletop form by assembling a Servitor of your own while we have supplies of them!

What Do We Do?

Here at Warhammer Launceston, we help hobbyists of all experience levels with Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000, be they complete newcomers who are just starting on their hobby journey or veterans of many wars, who are onto their next army - be it their 10th, 20th, or whatever army they are now up to!

We enjoy introducing people of all ages to this hobby where you collect, build and paint the best miniatures around, that can then be used to tell fantastic stories set in our universes in the form of battles played out across the table.

If you're interested in trying out the hobby, feel free to come in any day we're open and we will run through the games, and even give you a model to paint!

We have the largest range of Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 miniatures in Launceston, along with all the paints, tools and more that you'll need to do the hobby with. If you're looking for a new unit to add to your collection, we're likely to have it, and if we don't we can source it through our In-Store Order Point.
