Absolutely CANNOT BELIEVE it’s June 1st….. and the first day of winter😵‍💫🥶

Wow it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything🫣 Apologies! But there’s been some good reasons!
First the great news….
💞 We’ve been preparing for a massive celebrations with our youngest and his beautiful girlfriend becoming engaged in March 💍🫠🥹
We are feeling absolutely blessed right now! We adore his fiancé and her wonderful family💞

Was a lovely distraction from what happened a few days before when our car was stolen from where my hubby works on Thursday morning last week in Stanhope (yes that actually happened 🫩🤷🏽‍♀️😮‍💨). Please bear with us a bit longer while we organise ourselves and I find the spark to get back into creating for you as we’ve been flat💞

I hope everyone has an absolutely smashing week ahead and something absolutely magical happens for you all✨

This year, has been a quiet one for me with my babes grown and doing other things… but getting to spend a day out with my love … in the beautiful autumn weather is still perfect. Beyond grateful for the love and support from not only my hubby but some beautiful, strong, courageous women in my life over the last 20+ years and more so the last decade has been inspiring. The love and care you’ve shown me has guided me to become the mother I am today. Thank you💞

To all the Mumma’s out there. Whether you stepped up while others stepped out, or been lucky enough to have cherubs of your own… or if you’ve become a Mumma through other ways….. Happy Morhers day 💞✨

Happy Tuesday folks!

It has been quite awhile between plant hangers…. Or anything macrame related…. And I have to say, I forgot how nice it is to be able to turn knots into beautiful statement pieces (frustration and later …. Muscle pain aside😅🫣😅). I started by following a pattern…. Until I realised I needed to adjust as the ring I was going to use, wasn’t the right size…. So I just let it go wherever the creativity would lead🤷🏽‍♀️

So - here it is….Finished… a two tier plant hanger! I love the sage green and cream combination!

What do you do when you’re feeling flat??

I know, I’ve been quiet lately…. Life’s been lifing…. Haven’t really found my creative mojo lately…. Needed a step back… on the weekend - day trip to Lancefield to surprise one of our faves and trying our hand at some sourdough starter using some of the discard to bake a couple of sandwich loaves as it felt wrong to discard it…. In the bin🫣😅🫠
House smells delicious…. Our first loaves are yummy…. And yesterdays delightful autumn sunshine, day with my man and cuddles from our girl Bek was much needed🥹🥰

Here’s to an amazing week ahead…. And hopefully to my mojo reappearing 🤞🏼😬🤞🏼💞
