Did you know the Barham-Koondrook Men's Shed meets every Monday and Wednesday from 9am to 1pm?

Based at the Koondrook Recreation Reserve, members get together to work on timber projects, carry out small repairs and lend a hand with projects in our local community.

New members are always welcome.

Arbuthnot Sawmills has been part of Koondrook since 1889.

Back then, paddle steamers would pull up along the river to load and unload timber bound for towns along the Murray.

A lot has changed at the mill over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot in Koondrook.

The PS Melbourne was a great sight on the Murray over the school holidays, with daily cruises running from Koondrook.

She’s since made her way back to Echuca, but we’d love to know, did anyone get the chance to take a cruise while she was here?

Don’t miss the boat, Last cruises in Koondrook this weekend before the Melbourne makes its way back up stream to Echuca for the annual boiler inspection and biannual out of water hull inspection.
