From prep to final coat of paint!
These purple half foil FM60's will get their protective clear coat tomorrow and be ready to hit the water Monday.
Who's got a name for this colour?

Have some fresh half foil FM60 minnows under way at the moment. Each one is foiled by hand but are such a great fish catching colour.

Bit of a late update!
Was fortunate enough to fish the two rounds in Tasmania recently.

Little Swanport - got out to prefish LSP a fortnight before the comp and found good numbers of kg+ fish. Come comp prefish day the fish were still in the same area but lower numbers.
Day 1 i managed to find a few good fish which had me sitting in 5th overnight with 3kg+ but couldn't back them up on day two only bringing in 2.2kg for a 10th place finish.

Scamander- after a venue change due to weather we didn't have a prefish. I don't typically go that well on Scamander, but day 1 i managed two good fish and one barely legal which was good enough for 7th overnight. Unfortunately I couldn't find any better fish on day two and slipped down to finish in 14th place.

Happy to have grabbed some very valuable AOY points from the two trips however and now sitting in 11th place for the year from my 4 rounds! The aim is to get into this year's Australian championships and while i probably have enough points now, will make an effort to do another round to try make it a sure thing!

Big thanks to all the interstate competitors that made the trip down, hobie, the Launceston Angling Club and Tasmanian Kayak Fishing Series for making it such a great week off Fishing. Also big thanks to Collin for the use of the pro angler!

Paddlefish Tasmania - Magazine took some of our lures on the Derwent yesterday. Was a hot bite with plenty of fish coming to an array of different colours
