Each year on 25 April, Anzac Day is commemorated to honour and remember those who have served, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation in conflicts, wars and peace operations.
Anzac Day services will be held across the Kempsey Shire.
For service locations and times, please visit ksc.pub/anzac-day-2026
Road closures and changed traffic conditions will be in place during services.
At the Kempsey Dawn Service, the Kempsey/Macleay RSL Sub-Branch has organised a three-volley salute. This is a ceremonial act performed in recognition of the fallen, involving a firing party discharging three shots in succession.
The salute will be carried out by licensed fi****ms holders using registered weapons and blank ammunition, with all NSW Police conditions met.
