Mayaga2Mayaga is a grassroots movement founded by Cherylea Walker on Ngarluma Country, inspired by her brother Clinton’s ongoing mental health journey. Created from love, culture and hope, the movement encourages men to support one another, break the stigma surrounding mental health, and remind every man that he is never alone.
In the Ngarluma language, Mayaga means “man” or “person.” The name Mayaga2Mayaga reflects the powerful message of men supporting men—one Mayaga reaching out to another through connection, understanding and healing. More than a T-shirt, it is a movement that starts conversations, strengthens communities and promotes wellbeing, one Mayaga at a time.
Come down to our stall and grab your Mayaga2Mayaga shirt for just $25 and stand with us in supporting men’s mental health. Wear the message. Start the conversation. Save a life. One Mayaga at a time. 💙
A huge thank you to Wirlumurra Aboriginal Corporation and Bugarrba for sponsoring our Mayaga2Mayaga shirts and standing alongside us in support of men’s mental health. Your generosity is helping us break the stigma, spark important conversations, and strengthen our communities—one Mayaga at a time. We are incredibly grateful for your support and belief in this movement 💙🖤
