To Our Community, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope that the New Year treats you well with fun and laughs - we aren’t quite sure how this has come around so quick but it’s here 🎄🎅🏻
On a sad note from us - in 2018 before covid hit an “idea” popped into our heads and after pondering what “different” things we could bring to our community we started the Reno’s of the old chemist with our family and friends. We absolutely love our space and the comfort it brings when we walk in of a morning and are so thankful we have had the chance to work together as mum and daughter (they are treasured times). What felt like four years of open shut open shut - we rolled with change and adapted as best we could.
And now lies the next chapter, and through many tears, lost sleep and conversations over the last year we have made the decision to close the door, for the last time on Friday 22nd of December trading as Worry’s for Giftware, Ice Cream and Coffee. At this stage we don’t know what the building will bring - that part we are still mulling over.
We want to take this time to say that each person who has walked in our door has enlightened us through conversation, laughs and smiles. The little dots we share stories, ice cream and our step with, is for us both, one of the hardest to let go because we will miss them a bucket load. And we can’t not mention the chats with fellow traders before our doors all open in the morning. A great way to start the working day with a wave and a laugh. It’s those people, little, local and beyond and those chats that make our day brighter.
Our community is truly a special place so thank you.
For now, we will enjoy our time with our family and see what next year holds. Judi and Kate
