Christmas Sale starts tomorrow for 4 days only this week.

Monday 8th, Wednesday 10th, Friday 12th 9am - 5pm and Saturday 13th 9am - 12pm no appointment necessary

Selected Fabrics reduced from $9 to $8pm, finish the bolt and get it for $6pm
All other fabrics 30% off, finish the bolt and take a further 10% off making them now from $9.60pm
All patterns 20% off
Bag batting was $9.15pm now $7pm
Lots of new 2yd pieces of fabric added all $18

I have made the decision to not stock any fabric from May next year. I will open for 2 weeks when I return from my overseas trip late March and then I have a wholesale offer that I cannot refuse to buy all my stock that is left.
It has been a hard decision to make, I will continue the quilting side of the business when I am not travelling. We are trying to do and see as much as possible before we are too old and can’t travel anymore.

The Sale starts tomorrow, if you are planning to visit following are some tips.
It is likely to be very busy, especially Wednesday, I’m a 1 person business and my shop is quite small so please be patient as the cutting line might be long.

There will be a credit card surcharge on payments by card, pay either by cash or direct transfer on your banking app if you do not want to pay the surcharge.

Bring your fabric requirements as I will not be able to offer my normal personalised service on a sale day, calculating fabric required for backings, helping with colour selections.

You do not need to hold all the bolts of fabric you need whilst waiting, I run a system where I have a cutting slip with your name on it and I can add fabrics to it as you find them.

Please park in the 2 driveways, please not on the lawn, the big boss will get mad at me. Please do not park on my neighbours pavement. The verge opposite the park is great, get off the road as people tend to drive this road at speed.

If the room becomes too full I will have to ask people to wait to enter either in their car or outside, I’m sorry, but I do not want any accidents.

Come and enjoy, I’ve only ever done a couple sales before and the atmosphere is always fun and noisy.

I have added some patterns at 20/30 and 50% off, true colours by tula pink at $9pm, outback wife bark cloth 150cm wide at $5pm and lots of fabrics at $9pm.

Looking forward to seeing everyone over the next couple of weeks.

I am sad to announce that I am drastically downsizing my fabric stock and in the future will be stocking a limited range of fabrics.

The quilting side of Beachside Quilting will still continue to operate and want to revive my passion for teaching quilting. So will regain the space for a teaching area.

It has been a very hard decision for me to make. As many of you know I’m a total fabriaholic and love seeing everyone and helping you choose fabrics for a project. I love every minute of it.

We have been taking time out and travelling a lot recently and still have a huge bucket list to tick off, the window of opportunity for active travel is dimishing. You never know what is around the corner in life as you get older.

I would like to thank everyone that has supported me in my small home business, that grew and grew to what it is today. I still have some customers who will remember the small rack of fabric in the adjoining ensuite bathroom to my quilting room, that was a long time ago. Thanks for sticking with me.
I’ve met wonderful people who’ve now become friends and inspiration for my quilting journey. This has been a very hard decision.
