I took the day off today and apparently that was all the encouragement one of my florists needed to stage an intervention. 😂

Instead of emergency phone calls, I got a steady stream of photos documenting a full-scale ribbon and sundries intervention.

Apparently I don't need to buy any more ribbon. Or wire. Or random bouquet boxes when I've convinced myself we've "definitely run out."

Turns out I already own approximately 47 of everything... they were just hidden in my own organised chaos. 🤦‍♀️

Everything has now been sorted, grouped, stacked and labelled so neatly that I might actually be able to find it next time. She even included a list of items I've been baned from purchasing.

I feel both personally attacked and incredibly grateful. 😂

Moral of the story: sometimes the best thing you can do for your business is step away for a day and let someone else expose your hoarding tendencies. 💚

Sometimes the perfect piece simply doesn't exist... if you can't buy it? Build it

When we were asked to create 12 wooden floral boxes for the Round Mountain Living land release, there was just one catch — they needed to be a specific size, natural timber, and this was something that couldn't be bought off the shelf.

So we headed to the workshop.

Every box was measured, cut, assembled and finished by hand before being transformed into floral displays for the event. We love projects like this because they remind us that creativity isn't just about the flowers — it's about finding solutions, making things from scratch, and bringing a vision to life.

A huge thank you to the team for trusting us with such a unique project. We loved seeing these custom-made pieces become part of the event styling.
