Omgosh, peeps!!! Look at this letter I found!! My bestie Crystal wrote it in 1996, to ‘TLC’ (that stands for Tanya, Louisa, Crystal, cause we used to write letters to each other). Proof that at age 12 I was already super obsessed with books and annoying everyone by ignoring them and reading instead hehehehehheheheh 😬📚❤️☺️ love u, Crys, I didn’t mean it when I said go away, come back to Sydney!!! 😂

He didn’t say why, but I bet he’s going to another party 😂😂

Hello my faves!!!!! Just fyi, my dad (Gerard, as pictured ☺️) is at the shop today (Saturday) from 11am (if he gets there on time!!!) but he has to leave early because he’s going to a party with my mum 😂 so cute. And I’m in Cairns for a few days, so he’s gonna close the shop at 2pm today. If you need books desperately (understandable) u better get there before 2pm ☺️ please and thank you x

Hello my faves!!!!! Apparently it’s a public holiday? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Anyway so I have no concept of public holidays because I’d be at the shop 24/7 if that was a thing, so I’m gonna be there over Easter ☺️
Friday, Saturday & Monday from 11am, however, in saying that, if there’s no one around I might go home at 2pm so please ring me before coming in if you’re thinking of an arvo book shopping trip!!!! 📚❤️☺️

Hey everyone!!! Guess what!!!! On Tuesday it will be 17 years since my dad and I took over The Bookplate ☺️ 17 years!!!!!!!! That’s ages!!!!! Anyhoo, the bookplate is still my favourite place in the world, so here’s to another 17 ☺️
It’s also the 17th of March on Tuesday so I’m gonna do 17% off on the 17th for our 17th bday, for all sales over $17 lol YAY!!!!!
