Autumn harvest at La Evarose 🌹

This season is for the hips.
Not all roses give the same fruit, and each species carries its own character.

Rugosa rose hips are large, thick-fleshed, and rich in colour.
They form slowly through summer and ripen into deep red fruits full of natural compounds that have long been valued in traditional preparations.

Dog rose hips are smaller and more slender, growing wild along hedgerows and old fences.
They have been gathered for generations for syrups, teas, and extracts, especially in the cooler months when the fruit is fully mature.

Both come from the same genus, yet each harvest feels different —
one bold and heavy, the other light and wild.

At La Evarose, the year moves with the roses.
Petals in spring, hips in autumn, and everything recorded by harvest.
