As of 5PM today I'll be taking the next week and a bit off due to riff-stick commitments. I'll be back behind the soldering station on the 18th of March.

It's been a hot minute since I've posted some repair stuff. Here's my makeshift outdoor soldering workbench setup from a recent trip up to St Helens with Brookfield Tube Audio working on restoring an old Sound Workshop 16 channel desk.

Recently completed a simple repair on a sick piece of history - an original Marshall Amplification The Guv'nor pedal. These are one of the key ingredients to the sound of one of the greatest death metal albums of all time - Heartwork by Carcass

This example was in for a broken power socket which can be an issue on these older pedals due to plastics at the time having the consistency of Swiss cheese. New power socket in and done!
