Hurrah!! The time has finally come where restrictions are easing & we can get ourselves back into some kind of new normal. With the easing of restrictions though, I will still be taking an abundant amount of caution to ensure that I can protect myself, my family, my friends & of course any potential customers to the best of my ability. From tomorrow, I will be asking all customers who would like me to provide services within their homes to be double vaccinated & will be asking for proof at the time of my attendance of the service call.
I understand everybody is entitled to their own opinions on whether vaccinations are the way forward & if you are choosing not to vaccinate then that is your right. I however, am choosing to vaccinate & limit my exposure to Covid-19 by asking customers be vaccinated also.
I am in a privileged position where I am allowed into your home to complete a job, however homes are recognised as one of the main areas where transmission of the virus is taking place & therefore a high-risk setting.
In addition to being double vaccinated, I will be wearing a mask & ask that you & anybody else over the age of 12 in the property at the time of my attendance also wears a mask. I would also appreciate if you didn’t remain in the room with me whilst I look at the appliance in question. Laundries in particular are very small spaces for more than 1 person!
Finally, I ask that if you are experiencing any cold or flu like symptoms, have been in a hotspot area or advised of being a close or casual contact & self isolating whilst awaiting test results, please ring or message to reschedule your appliance inspection & repair.
I do not know your medical history, nor do you know mine & would never want to inadvertently expose a vulnerable member of our community to this virus. We all have families & we all need to keep each other safe!
