At Leichhardt Garden and Landscape Centre we are a dynamic, family owned business who pride ourselves on our long history. We have been in business for 20 years from very humble beginnings with Leon and Jan Billing sowing the first seeds and having the courage take a leap of faith with a new venture. Boris and Helen Billing took over the reins in 2012 to grow the business into the complete garden

centre destination that it is today. We offer a wonderful range of greenlife and with deliveries of new stock every week there is always something new to see. Our Landscape 4 Less Range is a great way to save with us. We have selected a diverse range of plants and grown them onsite to offer you a budget solution to your landscape needs. We grow them in bright blue pots so you know what to keep an eye out for. Any 5 for $55 means you can fill your trolley and save! We also offer our Leichhardt Little Lovelies range - again grown here. We have them in bright purple pots so you can pick them out easily and save. At 5 for $40 they are a great way to add a pop of colour. Take your time and wander through our large range of beautiful pots displayed right at the front door to our inspiring Gift Shop. We also offer gift vouchers for that 'Spoil Yourself' experience for the receiver. Our Landscape Yard has everything you need to renovate any area of your garden. Bring out the trailer and we can load you or for bigger jobs we can deliver onsite. With premium garden mix, decorative pebbles, compost, screened cow manure, washed sand, concrete blend and cement, fine crusher dust, forest mulch, bulk
sorghum bales, pavers, retaining wall blocks, sandstone blocks plus bagged potting mixes we have got you covered. Monday-Friday 8am to 5 pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am to 3pm.So what are you waiting for? Come and say G'day to our friendly team at Leichhardt Garden and Landscape Centre!

WE ARE HIRING!! A temporary position is available to join our team at Leichhardt Garden and Landscape Centre!

The role in our family run, retail garden and landscape centre will be 4 days/week Thursday + Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday + Sunday 8am-3pm for 4 months minimum.

The successful applicant will need to have great customer service skills plus a friendly, helpful manner and the ability to work in a team environment.

The successful applicant would be responsible for
 Customer Service using our electronic point of sale system – with scanning and computerized till.
 Driving the loader and forklift for loading utes and trailers in our landscape yard.
 Lifting and loading bags of potting mix, mulch and pots for customers.
 Receiving, pricing and displaying plants, pots and gift lines within the nursery. This also involves regularly moving tables around – more lifting!
 Regular maintenance including watering, weeding, spray application, potting up and blowing down the garden centre.
 Answering phone calls and taking clear messages
 Truck deliveries of landscape product (MR license required). Desirable to have capacity to drive the truck but not essential.
