As we step into a new year, we’re taking a moment to pause and soak it all in.
2025 marked our first full year in business for Good Throw Co — and what a year it’s been. One filled with creativity, growth, beautiful collaborations and more support than we ever imagined.

This year also saw Good Throw Co grow into over 40 beautiful stores across Australia, something we’re incredibly proud of and so grateful for.

To our incredible artists — thank you for trusting us with your art, your stories and your vision. It’s an honour to transform your work into pieces that are loved, lived with and shared in homes all over the country. You are the heart of everything we do.

To our customers — thank you for choosing to support small, for supporting Australian artists, and for believing in what we’re building. Every order, message and kind word keeps this dream moving forward.

We’re heading into 2026 feeling inspired and excited, with new designs, new collaborations and some very special new products launching soon — and we honestly can’t wait to share them with you.

🌙 Where We Come Together Throw 🌞

A truly special collaboration with our daughter Taylor-Lee from Ochre Sisters. In this photo you’ll see her original artwork — the piece that inspired and became this beautiful recycled-cotton woven throw.

✨ The Story Behind the Art
Where We Come Together is a deeply meaningful artwork centred around the crescent moon and the vibrant sun — two opposites, a light and a dark, coming together to create balance and life.

The interconnected moon and sun symbolise the equal roles they play in helping us — and Mother Nature — flourish, grow and thrive.

On the moon’s side, shadows of blooming palm leaves drift across the horizon, representing the beauty that still exists even in moments of darkness.
On the sun’s side, a variety of delicate flowers highlight the pristine, fragile richness of our natural world.

At either end of the artwork, smooth rolling hills are blanketed with rows of lush flowers. Standing atop them are silhouettes of people connected side-by-side — a symbol of harmony, unity and the bonds we share.

Overall, Where We Come Together holds a deep sense of love, connectedness and worth — a reminder that even contrasting forces can create something whole and beautiful when they meet in the middle.

🧜‍♀️ The Sea Song Mermaid Throw 🧜‍♀️
A collaboration with the lovely Sue Fantini, an artist we’ve proudly worked alongside for almost three years now. We chat often and have built such a beautiful creative rhythm together — and this design is one I actually helped create with her, which makes it feel extra special.

This piece began with my favourite limited-edition tile, Sea Song Mermaid, and then evolved as we pulled in some of my most-loved elements from Sue’s wall art tiles that so many of you recognise from our sister store

Look closely and you’ll spot:
✨the fruit bowl from Sura’s Head
✨the fish plate and vase from Jungle Juice
And that incredible border and sea temple? Sue painted them exclusively for this throw — one of my absolute favourite parts of the whole design.

They make the most beautiful, meaningful gift — a piece you’ll treasure for years to come. 🤍 We have plenty in stock on our website right now (and I’m sure does too).
