๐ฅ TWO VL's. TWO PHILOSOPHIES. SAME OBSESSION. ๐ฅ
Side by side in the workshop this week โ proof there's no single "right way" to build a VL Commodore.
๐ค "PSI 600" โ The White VL
Barra power under the hood
Backed by a TH400 โ built to plant and go
Fuel cell out back, along side a parachute which is much needed
Drag-inspired through and through โ this thing's built for the strip, although pretty enough for the show stand
๐ "EVIL VL" โ the Blue Calais
RB30 turbo heart under that big single
Backed by a Powerglide
Deep dish simmons, lowered stance, blue walls
Boot tubbed and trimmed, no chute for this streat weapon
Built for presence โ a street/show cruiser that still means serious business
Same bones, wildly different combinations under the hood and in the drive train. One's a straight-line weapon built to launch and go, the other's chasing a vibe and a stance. Both fantastic builds that we love to see cruising around.
๐ If you had to pick one setup to park in your shed โ Barra/TH400 drag weapon or RB30/Powerglide street cruiser? Or would you build something completely different again
