Some mornings the inner-f**king-bracing kicks in before I even get out of bed.

My mind starts sprinting.
Lists appear.
My body tightens like it’s about to run a race no one asked me to join.

For years I thought the answer was to just push harder.
Be more productive.
Get more done.

But I’ve realised that voice isn’t actually helping me.

So now when I notice the inner bracing start up, I pause.

Sometimes I take a few breaths.
Sometimes I go outside.
Sometimes I place a crystal on my body and let myself feel what’s actually going on underneath all the noise.

It sounds simple, but that pause changes everything.

Instead of fighting the beast, I’ve learned how to tame it.

If you know this feeling, you’re not broken.
Your nervous system might just be asking for a little kindness.

Energetic health is where it’s at this year ✨

We’ve read the books, we’ve done the yoga - now it’s time to meet yourself and give space and compassion for what you find.

I personally do these crystal meditations daily and I’m still surprised with how they land differently each time.

Sometimes there’s a release of tears, sometimes there’s gentleness and compassion for myself… and sometimes I fall asleep (which is also really great 😂).

These meditations are like a warm energetic hug from me, guiding you inwards and telling you that it’s all ok 👌

I took almost two months off to be with my kids over the Xmas break. And now it’s the end of January…
and my mind has decided I need to get 1,325 things done in the first week back and I’m going a little cray-cray 🫠

My body’s braced.
My breath is shallow.
And it’s not because anything is actually wrong.

It’s because my mind is barking orders —
telling me who I need to be, what I need to prove, how fast I need to move.

Sound familiar?

So today I’m not trying to get ahead.
I’m just trying to get back into my body.

One breath.
One pause.
One moment where I don’t rush the beginning.

Because maybe this clunky, awkward, slow energy?
Maybe it’s not a problem.

Maybe it’s just what starting again feels like.

This is your cue to take a deep gentle inhale, and a long slow exhale.
