🌿☔ Happy Sunday Everyone! ☔🌿

After all the recent rain, I took a few moments to wander around with my phone and see what nature had been up to.

It's amazing what appears when we slow down and take a closer look. 🌱✨ Tiny shoots pushing through the soil, fresh new growth, and little surprises that seem to pop up overnight after a good soaking of rain.

Sometimes we get so busy rushing from one thing to the next that we miss the simple beauty right in front of us. Taking a few photos reminded me to pause, appreciate the little things, and enjoy the changing season.

I'd love to see what you've spotted lately! Have you noticed any flowers blooming, mushrooms appearing, or fresh green growth around your home after the rain? 📸🌿

Wishing everyone a wonderful Sunday filled with relaxation, happiness, and a little time to enjoy the beauty around you. 💕

**Craft Room Confession Time! **

I have a question...

Does anyone else's craft room look like a creative tornado has swept through it?

I keep telling myself that I really should tidy up...
I know exactly where everything should go...(but I probably don't have that much of a plan yet)
I know I'll feel better once it's done...

But then I think...

"Or... I could spend that time crafting instead!"

Suddenly, in my mind anyway, the piles of paper become "organised stacks," the scattered embellishments become "creative inspiration," and the overflowing desk becomes a "work in progress." 😆

Let's be honest—most crafters would rather spend two hours creating than two hours cleaning their craft space!

So tell me...

💖 The Importance of Friendship and Supporting Small Business 💖

One of the things I love most about being part of the crafting industry is the friendships that are formed along the way.

Running a small business can sometimes feel a little lonely, which is why it's so important to connect with others who understand the joys, challenges, and passion that come with building something you love.

This week, Craft Expressions was lucky enough to welcome some special visitors. It was wonderful to catch up with Nikki Tinus from Just Craftin and Scrappin in Townsville, along with Karenina and Tanya from A Place to Create at Arana Hills. 💕

There’s something truly special about sitting down over a cuppa, sharing ideas, talking shop, celebrating successes, and supporting one another. While we may each run our own businesses, we're all part of the same creative community, and that community is stronger when we lift each other up.

Thank you for taking the time to visit. The conversations, laughter, and friendship were very much appreciated, and it's always inspiring to spend time with people who share the same passion for creativity.

Here's to friendship, collaboration, and supporting small businesses wherever we can. Together, we help creativity thrive. 🌸
