A treasure trove of musical gems, Da Capo is always worth a visit because you never know what you might find! We stock second-hand sheets of all types in brass, woodwind, strings, piano and vocal music, as well as mini and full scores, vocal scores, chorals scores and musicals. Contemporary music is not forgotten with our popular music and jazz sections, holding a wide range of music for a variety

of instruments. Composer Biographies, Music History and Reference, Instruments and Instrumental Technique, Theory & Education, Musicology, Pop, Rock and Jazz! If you're interstate or overseas and in need of music, we can conduct limited searches for you and post items to you if they are in stock, simply contact us by email and we'll get back to you. Residents of the Greater Sydney area are encouraged to come in to the shop and browse for their items - you never know what you might find and we love getting to know our neighbours! We're always looking to buy used modern and playable sheet music - so if you're doing a spring clean, feel free to being in a box or two for an on-the-spot offer of cash or credit!

We’re taking a break! Our last day of trading for 2026 will be TUESDAY the 23rd of December!
If you’re looking for a last minute Christmas gift, our gift certificates will be available for purchase on our website throughout the break, or you can pick up a pretty shiny physical one in-store today or tomorrow.
We are open until 5pm today (22/12) and 10am-6pm tomorrow (23/12). The bookstore and cafe will be back open on the 2nd of January, and the bar will reopen on the 7th of January.
We hope everyone has a safe and peaceful break, we will see you all bright and early in 2026 🫶

Here's something very cool that turned up recently!🎹👀

This is the Ricordi Edition of the complete keyboard works of Scarlatti, in 10 volumes (with supplement)! It's a beautiful collection in very good condition, and this is the first time I've seen a complete set in the near-decade that I've been working at Da Capo!
