Not all great finds are gold.

While detecting near Breamlea with his Minelab Manticore, Clint uncovered what appeared to be an old commemorative token. A closer look revealed it was a 1910 British token featuring HMS Victory and Nelson's famous final words.

Even more remarkable, the token was reportedly struck using salvaged copper from the hull of HMS Victory, Lord Nelson's flagship during the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

An incredible piece of history to pull from the ground. Thanks for sharing the find, Clint! 👏

Two hours. One nugget. Three species. ⛏️

Rick picked up his new Gold Monster 2000 from our Thomastown store and headed straight to a well-worked area around Creswick.

Just two hours later, he was holding a nugget along with three gold species from ground he'd previously searched with both a GPZ 7000 and a Gold Monster 1000.

A great reminder that even heavily worked ground can still hold a few surprises when you put in the time and dig those signals. 👌
