We love hand made products and it genuinely brings us so much joy to give our friends and family personalised gifts bursting with love. It's been strange times this whole year pretty much. ⁠
When covid hit, we didn't know how to react, how could we expect people to continue to buy our products when people were out of work and losing loved ones? We took some time out. ⁠
joy&love started from our passion to make amazing quality, unique and one of a kind handmade products for the everyday. We are a small team, a mother and daughter duo actually- And while we don't rely on joy&love as our income (hopefully maybe one day) and it's purely a passion project at the moment, that doesn't mean covid didn't effect us. ⁠
One half lost our job and was not and is still not eligible for any payments, the other moved interstate during a pandemic and has not seen any family or friends since.⁠
However we have loved seeing the good stories come out of these hard times, the new opportunities for people, new perspectives and realisations of what is actually important. ⁠
We felt privileged to contribute with our premium hand made masks at a great low price. We took some more time off and if this pandemic has taught us anything it's to not take for granted our privileges and our loved ones.⁠
Seeing as this is almost the basis of joy&love, we decided to get making, well sharing again (because we were always making)! We love making and providing an alternative shopping option for unique and handmade products.⁠
So in a very long-winded way, WE ARE BACK and you'll be seeing more of us and we hope to be seeing more of you too! Now located in VIC and QLD for your convenience ;)⁠
