NEW ART WORKSHOP IN 3 WEEKS TIME

WORKSHOP DETAILS: Acrylic on Canvas Florals Workshop, facilitated by Rachel Porter of The Starling’s Nest. Learn step-by-step blending and brush techniques to paint a vibrant, textured floral masterpiece. All skill levels are welcome. You will take home your own completed canvas ready to hang. All art supplies are provided.

DATE: Sunday 6th September, 1pm - 5pm

BECOME A MEMBER OF OUR ART GALLERY - Join our creative community and support local artists.

We are a non profit community art gallery run by volunteers. Becoming a member offers you some great benefits, while also helping us to continue to support local artists.

Benefits of gallery membership:
- Entry into members only exhibitions
- Lower commission on artwork sales
- Discounted workshop tickets

Only $22 per year for concession membership and $40 for standard membership.

Volunteer Opportunity: Gift Shop Coordinator (Unpaid)
Gawler Community Gallery

We’re looking for a tech confident, organised volunteer to help coordinate our gallery gift shop. This role suits someone local to Gawler and surrounds, who enjoys working with artists and can manage simple digital workflows.

What you’ll do:
• Source new items by liaising with artists and members
• Upload products into Square using an Excel template
• Create barcodes in Label Live software
• Monitor sales and rotate stock to keep the shop fresh
• Maintain a tidy, welcoming display

What we need:
• Someone local to Gawler & surrounds
• Confident using online systems, Excel templates, and desktop software
• Reliable, organised, and comfortable communicating with artists

Time commitment:
Around 4 to 8 hours per month, completed entirely at times that suit you.
Full training and onboarding as well as ongoing support will be provided.
