Donna is a self taught Perth artist inspired by native birds, flowers and the natural world around her.

Working mainly in acrylic, she uses bold brushstrokes, layers of colour and texture to capture the character, movement and feeling of her subjects. Her style moves from detailed and neat to loose and slightly abstract.

For Donna, painting is also a way to slow down, unwind and reconnect with the things she loves. She hopes her work brings a little joy, calm and connection to everyday spaces.

New work by Magda has just arrived at the gallery.

Her work is recognisable for its abstract forms, unusual shapes, and use of texture and colour. This collection includes stoneware and ceramic pieces, with bowls, vases and some more playful forms.

There are some really interesting pieces to discover, including shapes you don't often see in ceramics.

Some jewellery is made to be worn. Some pieces also belong in a museum.

Felicity Peters .peters.artjeweller is a Perth based jeweller with a career spanning decades, and her work is held in public collections including the National Gallery of Australia, Powerhouse Museum, Art Gallery of Western Australia, Gdansk Amber Museum and Zurich National Museum.

Her jewellery often brings together sterling silver, gold, enamel and gemstones, with ideas drawn from architecture, the environment, history and her travels.

Felicity has exhibited nationally and internationally, and her work has been recognised with numerous awards and grants, including an Australia Council residency in Rome and a Creative Development Fellowship from the Western Australian Government.

We are very pleased to have Felicity Peters' jewellery at The Artisan Store Fremantle.

Slang Print celebrates the humour, character and colourful language that has shaped generations of Australians. Each postcard brings nostalgic Australian expressions to life through traditional printmaking techniques.

Using hand set vintage wooden type and letterpress printing on the front, paired with a hand pulled screenprinted reverse, every postcard has a wonderfully tactile, handmade quality. Printed in small, limited editions on 210gsm Sirio Milkshake paper, these pieces preserve familiar sayings while celebrating the beauty of ink, paper and traditional craftsmanship.

Jess is a self taught artist born and raised in Fremantle, with a deep connection to the ocean and the wild beauty of approaching storms. The power of the sea, dramatic skies and changing light continue to shape her artistic world.

Her work has an intense, melancholic quality, with stormy oceans, expressive eyes and portraits featuring throughout her practice. Working mainly in watercolour, gouache and acrylic, Jess is also exploring the traditional medium of egg tempera as she continues to develop her style.
