**An Honest Update**
Some big changes for our business happened this week.
Firstly, we got our car signage up so everywhere we go now we can promote ourselves,(we drive A LOT).
Secondly, we transitioned from a sole trader business and have now become a separate company, of which I am the sole director, shareholder and employee. With this brings new bank accounts, gst registering (we hit the 75k revenue threshold, yeww) and lots of signing documents.
It’s pretty exciting and for us a big step up but one we are pumped to be making!
Thirdly, I’ve been on the search for a good shipping agent and after months of back and forth, enquiries, set backs, frustrations and financial ‘learning experiences’ we seems to have a great system with our new agent which is a much better experience for our customers and less stress for us.
I am still growing and learning and making sometimes silly and costly mistakes as we learn how to streamline our process, deal with customers, choose new products, network with manufacturers and try and ship as quick and safely as possible to places all over the world- Ireland, Switzerland, South Africa, Israel and even Estonia!
Lastly, we have kind of hit a ceiling of how successful the business can be in our current model so our main focus now is to try and get a loan/investment/gift to help take us to the next level- a full containers worth of stock that we can store in our own warehouse and control when/how/who our orders are shipped with, in what condition, and quickest timeframe. Lord willing, that will come by the end of the year!
