BEECH MUSHROOM TACOS 🌮

Wanting to mix up your taco filling for next week’s taco night? You can’t go past this white beech mushroom filling with cabbage slaw and guacamole, it’s nothing but delicious!! 🤤

And the best part? We’ve got the white beech mushrooms, taco shells, olive oil, macadamia nuts and garlic in store, so you won’t have to spend loads buying all the ingredients!

White Beech mushrooms 150g - $2.00

Fresh Garlic 500g -$3

Sunbeam Macadamia Halves 110g - $4 - BBD: 26/11/26

Ingredients:
- 2 packs beech mushrooms
- 1 medium brown onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil

For the spice mix:
- 1 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika powder
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice

For the guacamole:
- 2-3 medium avocados
- 1-2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder

For the slaw:
- 1-1 1/2 cups purple cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 pinch salt
- 1-2 tsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp olive oil

Garnishes:
- chopped coriander
- 6 finely chopped macadamia nuts

Other ingredients:
- Mission Taco shells

Make the guacamole:
- Peel, pit, and mash the avocado. Add the other guacamole ingredients and combine well. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Make the Slaw:
- In a bowl, combine all the slaw ingredients and set aside.

Make the seasoning:
- Combine all of the spices together and set aside.

Make the Mushroom mix:
- Preheat a large pan over medium heat. Toss the mushrooms and onions with the olive oil in a bowl, then add to the heated pan. Add the seasoning and toss frequently, until the mushrooms and onions brown. Add the chopped garlic, toss and cook another minute and remove from the heat.

Assemble the Tacos:
- Heat the corn tacos in the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes. When ready, add the guacamole, slaw and mushrooms, then finish with your toppings.

CHOC HAZELNUT-FILLED COOKIES 🍫🍪

Your sign to make homemade choc hazelnut-filled cookies using our Master Martini Gran Delice spread! 😋

*Available at all four stores: Brunswick, Fitzroy, Flemington and Footscray.

Ingredients:
- 115 g unsalted butter, cold, cubed
- 190 g brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg, cold
- 245 g plain flour
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 100 g milk chocolate chips
- 10-12 tsp Master Martini Gran Delice, frozen into small dollops for at least 1 hour
- Sea salt flakes (optional)

Method:

1. Line a plate or tray with baking paper.
Spoon 10-12 small teaspoons of Master Martini Gran Delice onto it and freeze until firm.

2. Preheat oven to 180°C conventional
(160°C fan). Line two baking trays with baking paper.

3. Beat the cold butter and brown sugar until just combined. Add the vanilla and egg and mix until incorporated.

4. ���Add the flour, cornflour, baking soda and salt. Mix on low speed until a thick dough forms.

5. ���Fold through the chocolate chips.

6. ���Divide the dough into 10-12 portions (around 80-90 g each).

7. ���Flatten one portion into a disc. Place a frozen Nutella dollop in the centre.

8. Cover with a small piece of dough, then wrap the remaining dough around it, sealing the edges completely so the Nutella is fully enclosed.

9. Place on the baking trays, leaving space between each cookie.

10. ���Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are golden but the centres still look slightly underdone.

11. ����Finish with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt if desired.
