I've been terrible with social presence as of late- please know we are still operating, just at a different flow speed. The cost of coffee beans means we don't roast as often as when we first started, and change in size of roasting machines means we do bigger batches, which lasts us longer at this point in time ☕️

Creative things! ✨️

I painted a portrait of my Dad, Justin Metcalf , with coffee and oils for the Upwey Archie's! He is the main reason I've been so lucky to get into the coffee industry in the first place. He has 30 years of experience in the Melbourne Coffee scene, branching out to international levels in judging World Barista Competitions and meeting and learning from coffee farmers at origin all over the world 🌎

And my lovely bestie, Stephanie Marsh , painted me in my element with acrylics & won the Heart Award! ❤️
The artworks were hung in the main street of Upwey and we got to go to the awards night at where they were displayed in an exhibition. I'm so proud of Steph for her amazing artwork and deservingly winning her first art award 🎨

I'm so grateful to be surrounded by inspiring and talented humans, though had I made more time I would have loved to do more on my own painting (the curse of working with oils and needing it to be dry before submitting) but what a fun experience that I'm glad to have been a part of and share with you all 🫶

Thank you all dearly for waiting patiently with me, as times have been tough and I will be having to look at pricing changes in the new year (so this is your lil heads up) due to poor harvests, supply chain challenges and global economic shifts (boo!)
I'll make a post as soon as I have a fresh roast in stock! I know a few of you have been waiting, let me know if you're keen on buying some Soy Blend beans, as I'll pop you on the pre-order list and gives me a good idea as to how much to roast 😉✨️
