As we've seen before here, clothing care labels can carry meaningful messages. Levi's implore us to care for the planet by recycling its jeans (they do have a long life). This label for an American clothing item is more by way of an apology than a call to action. Needless to say, I have no current plans to travel to the US.

The Pop Up Op shares a small shopping strip with a couple of other businesses, including a florist and a business called Lock & Load which has something to do with the music industry, and not guns. Our immediate neighbour is Sammy the Barber and Hairdresser, who has been on the strip for 48 years. Sammy looks after the men's barbering needs and Inga the women's hairdressing. Good, friendly and helpful neighbours indeed.
