Big few months ahead,back to some 1/8 th off road after a long break since covid hit us, pretty excited to try something different again, this time having a crack at some ep 1/8 truggy,running the TLR 8xte,with hobbywing,gens ace,and power hd gear. 1st stop, ACT state titles, then the Vic state titles at Melbourne Off Road Radio Car Club - morrcc,then squeeze in some modified touring car at Geelong RC Racers ,then off to Brisbane for the big one, Pine Hills Dirt Racing for the Asia off road buggy champs, 200 entries at this race meet, can not wait hit the dirt again 🙂😍😎

BMRC young gun Jack Dewhurst along with his Dad Brad Dewhurst aka apprentice mechanic🤣, took another step in Jacks RC car racing venture over the weekend at Templestowe Flat Track Racers , TFTR Masters 2023 . After Jack's highly successful first year of racing last year, we stepped Jack up to 13.5 istc class for this year. So with one club day prior to the masters ,it was now time to see how Jack could cope with the much more intense racing in 13.5 amongst a quality field of drivers. After getting used to driving the track during practice and getting the new x-ray x4 23 dialled in ( thanks to Sandy lavazzo and Jordan Isergin), Jack showed us that he definitely was up to the challenge keeping himself within the top ten for all of qualifying and ultimately ending up on grid 5 for the finals!!!
In the finals jack displayed incredible car control, maturity and ability to handle hard pressure driving without cracking, Jacks natural ability would see him finish an amazing 4th place overall in the event. You should be super proud Jack and Dad 😎👌🏁🏁🏁

In what was an awesome week of racing at the recent KWR Engineering 2022 RCRA EP On-Road Australian National Titles, it has been amazing to see the support from friends, fellow racers, manufacurer XRAY/HUDY and importers of the XRAY brand here in Australia giving a tip of the hat to young Jack Dewhurst after his big win in the Junior Sportsman stock class held in Canberra Australia at ACT Model Car Racing Club Group. BMRC has helped Jack from the very beginning of his racing adventures which only started back in January this year. After getting jack started in the local club, racing with their very successful entry level class which uses the Kyosho FAZER MK 2 chassis platform, Jack showed a high level of of natural ability for driving and after 6 months BMRC decided it was time to step Jack up to 21.5 touring car class and supplied Jack with a xray X4 chassis and all the good gear to go with it. Jack competed in the bendigo classic first up and took the TQ and the overall win in the junior 21.5 class . Two weeks later we took Jack to the big one where he had some great competition. Jack qualified P3 for the finals in which he went on to take a 2nd heat 1 and 1st place for heats 2 and 3 earning himself the Juniour Australian National Title. Jack will now be mixing it up a little over the next few months trying his hand at the 13.5 class and also Open Modified which he will be running at the upcoming Geelong challenge cup in just under two weeks time!
