In 1935, Alban Berg began sketching his Violin Concerto, which he dedicated "To the Memory of an Angel" after the death of Manon Gropius. This Urtext edition features the violin part and piano reduction, with both marked and unmarked string parts, edited by Michael Kube and accompanied by fingerings and bowings by Frank Peter Zimmermann. It is available worldwide; orchestral material can be obtained from Breitkopf & Härtel.
