The restoration of 152 Dowling Street is officially complete with the jewel in the crown, the lead lighting, being installed today. Thanks to Marian Day for your beautiful, painstaking work. It will be appreciated for generations to come.

Thanks so much to Jimmy (of the brewing variety) Dom & Alan for the hard work and fine skills making this happen. A fantastic 25sqm slab for a storage area, courtyard and restroom.

Thank you so much Dan for this gorgeous piece of black butt for our shop counter. Dan milled this from their property with help from . Then Dan and one of the co-op’s directors Michael worked it with the thicknesser and the result is this beautifully subtle slab with a creamy texture and almost pink grain and a natural edge. This is everything we stand for - local, sustainable, made with love and care by our community. Stay tuned as we make it into a key piece of the shop fit out.

Thanks to one of our co-op directors and handy person Michael Grant, we have those unsightly holes in the ceiling patched up and ready to paint. Serendipitously .australia right next door supplied us with the pressed metal sheeting.
