Thanks to everyone who popped down and showed their support, said their goodbyes and shared their grief at losing their favourite fishing store this weekend! We’ll miss her too!

It was bittersweet as Jerry brought in the bait sign for the very last time; and locked the door on this chapter which has spanned the past 40 years. In between the packing, we reflected on what an iconic store Budgewoi Marine Sports has been. Everyone who’s ever been to Budgewoi has been to, or knows of, the fishing store in the circle. This store (and the residence above) was our family home for almost 40 years, and a place that will forever hold our memories and our hearts.

It’s been a ride; but Jez has earnt some time to go fishing….. 🎣
