(Yes! The rumours are true, this IS the room stopping, most delicious, magnificent scent you’ve ever come across). Our little tribute to our stomping grounds, none other than ‘Old Town Dimbulah’. So good, it almost has its own chant, almost! But … in the mean time it has a cool little story.

A nostalgic scent journey to the past. Let us take you back to days of yesteryear and reminisce of Old Town Dimbulah. Where To***co was King and the scent of the sweet woody crops filled the air. This is an alluring smokey scent rounded off by the perfectly balanced fragrance of Violet Flower and Vanilla.

We have plenty online and if you want to stock up, now is the time.

Whether you’re new here or a long time supporter, let us tell you what makes our business so special …..

We’re Tash and Julz, sisters who call the Tablelands home. We started our journey in 2020 after our family faced heartbreak and grief, searching for a way to heal and connect. 26 Candle Co was born to honour our beloved sister, Larrissa. Known for her infectious spirit and tenacious love for her family, she shone as bright as the sun, always. We learnt our craft together whilst listening to Metallica, laughing and sharing our memories. We decided to share our creations and help others reminisce over their own memories, their grandparents old to***co farms from their childhoods, to the lingering scent of Sandalwood exploring the Cape. Slowly, we started to see that our story resonated with so many, and our candles became something people would gift to their own loved ones.

Every time we get a little ‘ding’ through our website, or a knock on our studio door …. a Stockist letting us know they need more products - we squeal, happy dance and celebrate. Our mum still asks every time ….. how do all these people know about your candles!? 🤣😅 …..

No one ever tells you how to handle grief and how your personal journey looks.

2020 was heartbreaking 💔
2022 was heartbreaking 💔 &
2024 was heartbreaking 💔…. It felt like the final straw.

There’s only so much you can handle before you call it and say, I just need a moment to be ….. sad, to find a way to heal and just take a moment to find laughter and happiness in what truly matters.

We started 26 Candle Co to try and cope with losing someone so special to us. We’ve shared stories with Customers about their own journeys of grief. We’ve found little moments of capturing memories through our scents - laughter, tears, frustration, we’ve had the highs and the lows.

We are still here, we have our beautiful little studio and we have a few very special businesses who continue to support us. We have the most incredible Customers who choose to purchase our products because they connect with what we have created.

You may have noticed we’ve been quiet. Life happens, but we are still here, still pouring and still trying to find those moments of happiness to help our loved ones.

Our website will re-open in the coming weeks, in the meantime - we are always available via DM and we will be opening our Studio in the coming weeks for a special day.

Thankyou again from the bottom of our hearts.
