The Blue Wren Collective

The Blue Wren Collective 2025 TASMANIAN EXHIBITOR OF THE YEAR 🏆
Located in lutruwita (Tasmania) 🔮

11/06/2026

As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, winter invites us to slow down, turn inward, and find comfort in the simple rituals that nourish the soul. While nature rests beneath frost-kissed mornings and long, dark evenings, we too are given permission to pause, reflect, and gather our energy for the seasons ahead.

Winter’s colours are soft and sacred: silvers, whites, icy blues, deep forest greens, and rich burgundy tones. Some of my favourite herbs for the season include rosemary for clarity, mugwort for intuition, pine for renewal, cinnamon for warmth, and chamomile for peaceful rest.

And perhaps most exciting of all…Yule is just around the corner! One of my favourite times of year 🌲
A season of candlelight, evergreens, cosy evenings, bonfires, delicious food, good company, and the reminder that even after the longest night, the light always returns.

What crystals accompany you through winter? Let me know! ❄️💎🕯️

A little milestone worth celebrating… The Blue Wren Collective has officially surpassed 1,000 followers, with 1,210 incredible people now following along across all platforms ( - on here, Insta and TikTok) 📱💻📨

What started as a passion for crystals, connection, and creating meaningful spaces has grown into something I never could have imagined. Whether you’ve purchased a crystal, visited me at a market, booked an appointment at Neek’s Nook, shared a post, left a kind comment, or simply followed along on the journey…THANK YOU 🩵🤎

Small businesses are built on community, and every like, share, recommendation, conversation, and purchase genuinely makes a difference. Your support allows me to keep doing what I love: sourcing beautiful pieces, sharing crystal knowledge, and creating spaces where people can slow down, explore, and connect 🧘🏼‍♀️🔮🍵

There are some exciting things happening behind the scenes as The Blue Wren Collective continues to grow, and I can’t wait to share them with you all soon, but for now, I just wanted to let you know that I am grateful for each and every one of you. Every single one of those 1,210 follows represents a real person who chose to support a small dream, and that means more than words can express 🥰

Here’s to the next chapter ✨

After months of planning behind the scenes, I can finally let you all in on a little secret…

Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Tahlia to Neek’s Nook, our small healing space / stock storage in Devonport.

One of the most special parts of offering a private viewing space is allowing people to take their time, looking at what I showcase, picking up pieces that call to them, asking questions, and slowly building a collection that truly feels personal to them. There’s no rush, no crowded aisles, and no overwhelming market noise…just space to connect with the energy around you 🔮

Neek’s Nook was created to be a calm, comfortable environment where you can explore the range at your own pace, learn about crystals and spiritual tools, or simply sit and soak in the atmosphere for a little while 🩵🤎

As we head into the colder winter months, I naturally begin slowing down on markets a little more, which means Neek’s Nook will continue to be open by appointment for anyone wanting to browse the range in a quieter, more personal setting.

That being said… after SO many people asking me to attend, I’ll also be popping up at a brand new event this weekend 👀
I’m very excited to finally bring The Blue Wren Collective along to a space so many of you have recommended and requested over the past few months

Thank you again, Tahlia, for spending some time in the space and supporting my little business 🩷💜

There are dates that stay etched into us forever- not because we celebrate them, but because they mark the moment something finally shifted. Sometimes the universe closes a chapter in ways too strange, heavy, or haunting to fully explain. Certain winters carry away things we once feared would follow us forever. And while grief, anger, silence and relief can all exist in the same breath, there is something powerful about recognising when an old shadow no longer has a hold over your spirit.

Sometimes healing begins quietly.
Not with joy, but with the first full breath after years of survival mode.

Trauma leaves cords attached to us. Energetic ties woven through fear, guilt, hypervigilance, anger, and memory. And while therapy, support systems, and time are incredibly important, many people also find comfort in ritualistically reclaiming themselves. While we cannot erase the past, we can tell our body, mind, and spirit:
“You do not own me anymore”, and “you cannot hurt me anymore”.

🕯️ Some gentle ways to ritualistically cut ties with trauma:

• Write down the pain, fear, memories, or names you no longer wish to carry, then safely burn or bury the paper with intention.
• Take a cleansing bath or shower infused with herbs and salts, imagining the heaviness leaving your body.
• Rearrange your space. Open windows. Wash bedding. Remove objects connected to painful memories.
• Light a candle for yourself- not for the person who hurt you, but for the version of you that survived.
• Speak affirmations aloud, even if your voice shakes while saying them.

🎨 Colours often associated with healing and release:
🖤 Black: protection, banishing negativity, reclaiming power
🤍 White: cleansing, peace, renewal
🩵 Blue: emotional healing, calm, truthful communication
💚 Green: growth, heart healing, new beginnings
💜 Purple: spiritual strength and transformation

🌿 Herbs often used in healing rituals:
• Rosemary: protection and clearing stagnant energy
• Lavender: peace, sleep, nervous system support
• Mugwort: intuition and emotional processing
• Chamomile: comfort and gentleness (also a good substitute for those with lavender allergies)
• Rose: self-love and heart healing
• Eucalyptus: releasing heaviness and emotional tension

🔮 Crystals that can support this phase:
• Black Obsidian: cord cutting, protection, shadow work
• Smoky Quartz: grounding and releasing trauma energy
• Lepidolite: emotional balance and soothing anxiety
• Amethyst: spiritual comfort and peace
• Rose Quartz: rebuilding self-love after pain
• Malachite: transformation and emotional courage

Healing is not linear. Some days it looks like strength. Some days it looks like resting. Some days it looks like simply surviving another night. All of it counts.

And if nobody has told you lately: you are allowed to outgrow survival mode. You are allowed to feel safe. You are allowed to rebuild yourself without guilt.

The Blue Wren Collective & Neek’s Nook is always open to those seeking healing energy, a safe space, or simply a moment of peace amongst the chaos. My DMs are also open to anyone navigating trauma, grief, recovery, or emotional heaviness. You do not have to carry everything alone.

May this next chapter be softer.
May your home feel safe again.
May your nervous system finally learn what peace feels like.

Happy Monday, friends. Be gentle with yourselves today 🩵🤎

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to immerse yourself in a little crystal magic…this is it 🌈✨

Rainbow Lattice Sunstone is a type of feldspar that exhibits a rare combination of aventurescence, adularescence, and a distinctive iridescence lattice pattern. This extraordinary material is mined from an incredibly small and remote deposit within the Mud Tank Zircon Field in the Harts Range, north-east of Alice Springs. The mine is operated and managed by a single leaseholder in cooperation with the local Eastern Arrernte people, and is known as the Utnerrengatye (Rainbow Caterpillar) mine.

What makes this crystal even more special is just how limited the mining locality is, making genuine Rainbow Lattice Sunstone exceptionally scarce, expensive, and highly sought after by collectors worldwide. The deposit spans a tiny space of just 500 by 600 metres. Within this single, protected mining claim, gem-quality material is even more scarce; actual sunstone has been found in less than 10 percent of this area, and only about 0.5% of the total yield is considered gem-quality. Because the deposit size is so incredibly small and rests on Aboriginal land, commercial production is carefully limited and regulated.

Neek’s Nook is open throughout the week for private browsing, crystal questions, shopping, and a closer, in-person look at some truly rare and quality collectibles you won’t find every day 🩵🤎

I’ve been thinking about holding another workshop / mini market night, based around Yule (which is in about 5ish weeks, for those playing at home) 🌲❄️🎁

Have you ever wondered about the origins of the holidays we celebrate, why we celebrate them, and how to incorporate old magic into your practice? I’d love to hear from you in the comments.

Let’s make our magic, meaningful 🩵🤎

Our very first Magic Masterclass & Mini Market is almost here, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you!

“The Full Spectrum”: A Colour Magic Masterclass 🌈

In this workshop, we’ll dive into the world of colour magic through a “Paint & Sip” activity; we will learn how to use colour to manifest, set intentions, weave a little everyday enchantment into your life, and hear from our guest speaker: local artist and psychic Kathie Brooker from Seer Wax Art 🖼️
Afterwards, you’ll get the chance to explore our mini market, where you can put your new knowledge into practice with crystals, clothing, and other magical wares.

Spaces are limited (only 8 left!), so if this is calling to you, now’s the time to book- comment below or DM me to secure your spot. Only $55.00pp, and helps cover the cost of the activity, nibbles and drinks, and resources that you get to take home and utilise in your everyday routine or practice ✨

Can’t make it this time? Don’t worry! This is just the beginning, and there will be more masterclasses and markets to come 🙂‍↕️

🎨 Come play with colour, energy, and intention…I’d love to see you there 🫶🏼
