Well well well, the cute Yarn Art Dayboro, Treasure Tribe Dayboro Smurf popped in to our shop to check out some goodies, he even tried hiding behind the plants but was spotted!

He's headed back next door to the Treasure Tribe Dayboro again to help Katrina stock the Potty Calf Pot Hangers in store and make sure the paintings in the Artist Cove are all hanging straight ❤

Well… our yarn art Smurf has turned out to be quite the little social butterfly! 💙🧶

We thought he'd be happy sitting quietly around town, but it seems he has other ideas. 😂

Today's adventures included making some lovely new friends and squeezing into a Birthday group photo, before spotting the beautiful new Oska & Willow store next door and deciding he simply had to investigate.

And can we just say… what a gorgeous addition to Dayboro! 🌿✨

Oska & Willow is absolutely beautiful, filled with handcrafted soaps, skincare, candles and gorgeous gifts, all thoughtfully made with love. If you haven't popped in yet, it's definitely worth a visit.

Of course, our Smurf couldn't resist having a little sticky beak around the shelves... and we suspect he may have been just a tiny bit naughty when nobody was looking. 😉🤭

OSKA + WILLOW is looking for a friendly and reliable Junior Casual Team Member to join our beautiful Dayboro studio and showroom.

This position offers approximately 6–8 hours per week, sometimes more and applicant must be available to work either Saturday or Sunday and possibly during the week after school, perfect for a current 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭!

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly and welcoming
• Honest and reliable
• Neatly presented
• Able to work well within a team
• Comfortable working independently when required
• Willing to learn and take pride in their work

Duties may include (but are not limited to):

• Labelling products
• Bottling skincare and body products
• Stocking showroom shelves
• General cleaning and tidying
• Greeting and assisting customers
• Assisting with day to day shop tasks

This is a wonderful opportunity to gain experience in a small artisan business where everything is handmade on site with care.

🛀The giant French Blocks of Tallow Soap have returned … and they're disappearing faster than fresh bread at a country bakery (𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 The Dayboro Bakery 🍞)

Honestly, we understand the obsession. 🫶 Weighing in at around a whopping 350g each, these are less of a “bar of soap” and more of a commitment! A beautiful, creamy, skin loving commitment.

Made with nourishing tallow, they create the most beautiful creamy lather while cleansing gently without stripping your skin dry. The fatty acid profile is remarkably close to our skin’s natural oils. Which is a fancy way of saying your skin drinks it up and says “𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙮.”

They gently cleanse without leaving your skin feeling like an old leather handbag, and they’re beautiful for sensitive, dry and mature skin too. Plus they naturally contain Vitamins A, D, E & K… basically the alphabet, really.

As our very first day open in Dayboro came to an end, we reflected on just how special it truly was. From open to close, the shop was filled with beautiful people, some familiar faces we’ve known for years, alongside many wonderful new faces we had the pleasure of meeting for the very first time.

The warmth, encouragement, and kindness shown to us throughout the day was something we won’t forget. We met so many lovely local business owners and staff, and heard beautiful stories connected to this historic building. We were also incredibly touched to receive a spectacular bouquet of flowers from the wonderful Yarn Art Dayboro ladies of the QWCA, welcoming us to Dayboro ❤️

Even Theodore our studio dog was thoroughly spoilt all day with pats and cuddles. He can never get enough of them 🐾

Thank you for the warm welcome you have all given us. We are so grateful, and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Only 9 days to go until we open the doors to our new oska&willow shop here in beautiful Dayboro 🖤

For the past few weeks, we’ve been pouring our hearts into renovating the space and bringing her back to life. What was once tired has slowly transformed into a calm, beautiful store filled with warmth, texture, fragrance, and all the little details that make oska&willow what it is.

17 years later and we still love this craft just as much as we did in the beginning.

There is something incredibly grounding about making products slowly, by hand, in a world that moves so fast. Artisan soap making has taught us to appreciate slow living, beautiful rituals, quality ingredients, and the simple luxury found in everyday moments.

It’s shown us that the finer things in life are not always extravagant, often they are the quiet moments of care, intention, fragrance, texture, warmth, and creating something meaningful with our own hands.

Although soap will always be at the heart of what we do, the shop is filled with so much more. You’ll find our luxe skincare, soy wax and beeswax candles, diffusers, room mists, magnesium creams and sprays, tallow creams, botanical bath soaks, bath bombs, and many other beautiful products,all made by us, right here on site.

We’re incredibly proud that everything is created by our own hands. No imports. No mass production. Just small batch products made slowly and intentionally, from us directly to you.

We truly cannot wait to welcome you into our new Dayboro shop and share this next chapter with you.

This beautiful bar is our Manuka Honey + Oats Soap from the Everyday Range. Crafted with added coconut milk and Greek yoghurt, it creates a rich, dense lather that feels incredibly nourishing on the skin. We also include Tussah silk fibres, ethically sourced from a cruelty free silkworm farm, to give the soap its signature silky finish while helping to condition and soften the skin.
