💚 From pre-loved clothing to a one-of-a-kind garden hat

Before retirement, Lachlan spent his working life crop dusting. These days, you'll more likely find him spending time in the garden.

Knowing he'd need plenty of sun protection, his friend Jeni got creative. Using a pair of shorts and an old shirt she picked up from Reviva, she handmade this unique garden hat especially for Lachlan.

We think it looks fantastic! 🌱

Stories like this are a wonderful reminder that pre-loved items can become so much more than they were originally intended to be. With a little imagination, yesterday's clothing can become tomorrow's gardening essential.

Thanks to our community of Reviva super sleuths, we were able to identify it as a vintage Wi******er Hand Reloading Tool used to reload ammunition.

Who would have guessed! 🤯

This week's mystery item is a little less lethal... and not quite as old 😄

When you donate quality pre-loved items to Reviva, you're helping keep valuable resources in use for longer, reducing waste and ensuring our shelves are stocked with affordable treasures for the community to discover.

Every donation also supports our social enterprise, creating jobs and training opportunities for people facing barriers to employment while keeping good items out of landfill.
