💛 Community Fundraiser for Glenn 💛

Many of you have been asking how you can support Glenn directly during this time.

Some wonderful members of our community have organised a fundraiser to do exactly that - to support Glenn and our family personally, not the business.

As many of you know, Glenn was recently diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumour. It has been an incredibly difficult season for our family, and we are deeply grateful for the kindness surrounding us.

Darkes Forest Rural Fire Brigade and will be hosting a meat raffle, with all proceeds going directly toward supporting Glenn and our family as we navigate the challenges ahead.

Just a quick note that our kitchen will be closed this coming weekend - including for coffees and apple pies.

But you’ll still be well fed! Amigos Mexican Restaurant taco truck will be here on both Saturday & Sunday, serving up tasty lunch options. No bookings needed to visit the shop or grab lunch from them! 🌮

We also still have Pick Your Own Experiences available on both days - a perfect way to enjoy the orchard and pick your own summer fruit 🤤🍑

Looks like the weather’s calling last drinks on this week’s Cider Sunday (as demonstrated by Rex).

We’re disappointed too, nothing beats good tunes, good food, and a glass of Darkes under clear skies.
But the orchard deserves its moment in the sun, and so do you.

We’ll share a new date soon, and when we do, we’ll make it worth the wait 🍺

Cider Sunday is here on the 9th November at Glenbernie Orchard.

Celebrate with Darkes Cider on tap, live music, and a feast of Vietnamese, cheeses & meats from our share platters, and our famous apple pies.

Price: Free entry

Date: Sunday 9 November

Time: 11:00am – 3:00pm

Live music: TBC

Food: Pho King Delicious, plus our kitchen serving share platters, kids platters, coffee and apple pies

Drinks: Darkes Cider bar pouring orchard favourites including non-alcoholic drinks
