Job Description: An exciting opportunity has become available for a Station Hand to join our clients young and dynamic livestock team on their cattle property located near Hughenden in Queensland.​

It is highly regarded that applicants have high levels of motivation, a desire to be in the industry long term and a willingness to perform to the best of their ability. If you are dedicated, have a high care factor, and are willing to learn skills to pursue your agricultural career then this is the opportunity for you!​

Our client provides hands-on induction, training, and other industry-related training courses, such as low stress stock handling course in the first year of employment, and grazing for profit after a second year of commitment. You will be actively involved with all cattle work and mustering is with motor bikes and helicopters.​

At times you will be required to travel with the livestock team to their other breeder cattle property to assist with mustering rounds, for approximately 1-2 months of the year total.​

All other station hand duties are required including mustering cattle, all cattle processing and other property maintenance and operations including fencing, stock water maintenance, lick dispersal, and mechanical maintenance.

This is a great opportunity for applicants who are positive, capable, fit and able, willing to learn with a solid work ethic to join this progressive entity. It is essential to have a current drivers licence and own vehicle, along with some motorbike competency, to be considered for this position.
