Sunflowers are finally here!
This years stock is super limited as there are so many specific boxes they need to tick.

Next year, I’ll be finding a field to cover 😂

I’ve been bracing myself for these autumn blooms to end for the year but for now they continue on!

I’m also seeing loads of beneficial bugs in the garden so it seems my biodiversity mindset is really starting to prove itself. The plants are generally looking happy and healthy and the bugs are picking at any problem spots quite well. Can’t wait to see how that continues to develop

What do you think?

I’ve found an Australian based biodegradable brand that breaks down 90% faster than plastic and leaves no trace - it’s eaten by a particular microbe found in landfills and compost.

Their options aren’t perfect, but I can make it work.

Does seeing biodegradable on product packaging make you feel any differently about a brand? How about recyclable/made from recycled materials?

When shipping, I’ll cut a backboard from recycled cardboard and wrap in tissue made from recycled materials.

So far I’ve managed to keep plastic out of my brand but these new products require new packaging and I’m finding it a little tricky to square that away with my ethos.

I’d love any input/opinions on these things, I have my own but I’m sure there’s a variety of thoughts x

Something a little different for this bell jar - what do you think?

I like to make options to suit a variety of people (and to give me the opportunity to play with different styles).

It sold right away so that’s a great sign! Chuck your two cents in the comments below x

Popped back down to the Cranbourne Botanics this week to give their anniversary 20 a refresh.
designed this piece and together we installed it around a month ago, and it was incredibly interesting seeing how the lovely natives aged out in the weather over the last few weeks.

It won’t be up for much longer so if you feel like checking out a stunning botanic gardens, now’s the time to go for a mini road trip and check it out

Thanks for having us, it’s been a blast!

I can’t wait to start getting flowers in to these. There’s something so relaxing about all of the repetitive tasks involved in making the bases for my test tubes but the real fun is getting to play with colour and shape in dried flower form
