What do you think?
I’ve found an Australian based biodegradable brand that breaks down 90% faster than plastic and leaves no trace - it’s eaten by a particular microbe found in landfills and compost.
Their options aren’t perfect, but I can make it work.
Does seeing biodegradable on product packaging make you feel any differently about a brand? How about recyclable/made from recycled materials?
When shipping, I’ll cut a backboard from recycled cardboard and wrap in tissue made from recycled materials.
So far I’ve managed to keep plastic out of my brand but these new products require new packaging and I’m finding it a little tricky to square that away with my ethos.
I’d love any input/opinions on these things, I have my own but I’m sure there’s a variety of thoughts x
