We are wrapping up our deep dive into Bruhn Limestone finishes to help you choose the perfect look for your new build or renovation.

Part 4 - Rusticated Limestone

If you want a truly bespoke, handcrafted touch for your home, the Rusticated finish is a stunning choice. Unlike our Plainface, Bevel Edge, and Rockface blocks which arrive pre-finished from our quarry, the Rusticated look starts as our standard smooth plainface stone and features a 25mm square groove notched out along the top course.

Important note: Bruhn supplies the premium plainface stone for this, but we do not supply the stonemason! This specific finish is typically hand-profiled right on your site by your builder's independent stonemason, allowing them to tailor it exactly to your project's design specifications.

The Essentials
The Look: Custom, rhythmic, and incredibly refined! The 25mm groove creates bold, striking horizontal shadow lines across your walls.
