Burra Blooms

Inspired by the spectacular wildflower displays of the Burra Range in the White Mountains west of Pentland, Burra Blooms captures that moment of wonder experienced while travelling through this remarkable landscape. Layers of colour, native blossoms and foliage intertwine across twelve individual canvases, creating a vibrant celebration of the Australian bush in bloom.

This unique artwork has been designed as a collection of twelve standalone pieces that also work together as one larger artwork. Each canvas holds its own small section of the story, allowing collectors to own a piece of the whole or assemble multiple canvases to recreate the larger landscape.

The collection consists of:

2 x 8"x 8" canvases – $127 each
10 x 4"x 4" canvases – $33 each

Each piece is individually numbered 1/12 to 12/12 and signed by the artist.

☕❄️ June Paint & Sip – Cosy Corners ❄️☕

Just over a week to go until our next Paint & Sip at Emu Apple Arts!

This is the artwork we'll be creating on the night — a warm and inviting winter scene featuring a patchwork quilt, a comfortable chair, and a hot drink by the window. Perfect for these chilly mornings we've been having.

Open to all skill levels, this is a relaxed evening designed for people who simply want to have some fun with a brush. No experience is needed, and you'll be guided through the painting step by step.

For those interested in the technical side of painting, this artwork was inspired by the beautiful harmony of a traditional Zorn-style palette (with a touch of blue added). Does it have a little of that Old Masters feeling? Perhaps! But don't worry — we won't be getting too technical on the night. We'll focus on creating a cosy painting, enjoying good company, and having a creative evening together.

Studio Sessions Block 3 is here and we’re diving into oil pastels!

Join us Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30pm for four weeks of colour, texture, and creativity.

Oil pastels are such a beautiful medium to explore, rich, vibrant, and wonderfully forgiving. Whether you’re picking them up for the first time or coming back to them, this is a relaxed and supportive space to play and grow.

$150 for the full four-week block.

What an incredible four weeks it has been!

A huge congratulations to everyone who completed Studio Sessions Block 2, Watercolour Wanderings.

You all showed up, gave it your all, and created the most beautiful work. We have honestly just scratched the surface of what watercolour can do, and I am so proud of every single one of you.

Next Tuesday we dive into Block 3, Oil Pastel Stories, and I cannot wait to explore this gorgeous medium together. Four weeks of colour, texture, and creativity awaits!

What a wonderful night! I had such a great time at our local Business Excellence Awards and came away feeling so proud of this community.
